The Triad Aluminium is the enduro rim made from extruded 6069 aluminium with a Hollow Bead profile. Built for hard trail and enduro riding: reliable, balanced in its handling and made to take big hits.
Hollow Bead – what's in it for you?
With the Hollow Bead profile, the rim wall is hollow, which makes it wider and rounder than on a conventional alloy rim. If the tyre bottoms out on a rock, the force is spread over a larger area.
For you, that means fewer pinch flats, fewer tyre cuts and fewer dents in the rim. Especially when riding enduro, you can run slightly lower tyre pressure and get more grip.
FAQ and warranty
Which spoke length do I need?
The ERD of the Triad Aluminium is 560 mm (27.5") or 598 mm (29"). Together with your hub dimensions, you can use it to calculate the spoke length. Not sure? Send us your hub and we'll help you out.
28 or 32 holes?
In 29" the Triad Aluminium comes with 28 or 32 holes, in 27.5" with 32 holes. 32 holes is the stronger choice for the rear wheel and hard enduro riding. The key is that the hole count matches your hub.
Is the rim tubeless-ready?
Yes. For a tubeless setup you'll need suitable rim tape and tubeless valves.
Which tyre width fits?
With a 30 mm internal width, the Triad Aluminium suits enduro tyres between 2.3" and 2.8".
