Hand-laid in Kamloops
Every WR1 rim is hand-laid in Kamloops (Canada) by a named technician and given its own serial number. Nothing is sanded, filled or painted over: what comes out of the mould is the finished product.
The sinuous Convergence profile with faces angled at 7.5° aligns each nipple bed precisely with the hub flange, and the ZRT-reinforced spoke bed makes the rim significantly stronger. For you, that means the wheel stays exactly on your line, run after run, even when things get rough in the rock garden.
FAQ and warranty
Which spoke length do I need?
The ERD of the Deal Carbon is 562 mm (27.5") or 604 mm (29"). Together with your hub dimensions, you can use it to calculate the spoke length. Not sure? Send us your hub and we'll help you out.
Why only 32 holes?
Downhill puts the biggest forces on a wheel. That's why the Deal Carbon only comes with 32 holes, for maximum stability front and rear.
Is the rim tubeless-ready?
Yes. For a tubeless setup you'll need suitable rim tape and tubeless valves.
What about the warranty?
