Wheelset:
The Industry Nine Solix SL 35 wheelset is at home in hilly and mountainous terrain. Climbing enthusiasts will love the lightness, rapid acceleration, and instant power transfer of the Solix hub system. The hook-shaped, tubeless-ready 35mm carbon rim is lightweight, optimized for 25-28mm tires, and offers a smooth ride, low drag, and reliable tire protection. To enhance aerodynamic efficiency and improve handling, the Solix SL rolls on 24 straight-pull Sapim CX-Ray spokes, setting the benchmark for steel spoke performance.

Hubs:

The heart of the Solix rear hub is a 121-tooth drive ring combined with five continuously variable pawls. This gives the Industry Nine Solix rear hub 605 contact points and a freewheel travel of just 0.59 degrees, resulting in instantaneous engagement. The freewheels and drive rings are manufactured from A2 tool steel using precision wire EDM and are designed for maximum durability. To minimize resistance and freewheel noise, Industry Nine has reduced the drive diameter, pawl rotation, and pawl spring pressure, and modified the FH seal arrangement.

Solix utilizes customized hub cup bearing specifications for even load distribution, an updated bearing preload method to optimize performance and lifespan, and freehub bearings with up to 233% higher capacity compared to Torch. The combination of end caps with dust covers and new full-contact lip seals ensures maximum ball bearing protection, even under the most adverse conditions. The unique wave-shaped design of the hub flanges further enhances load distribution, increases strength, and reduces weight.
