Industry Nine Hydra hubs are high-end mountain bike hubs for everything from cross-country to downhill riding. Machined from high-grade aluminum and manufactured in the mountain biking paradise of Pisgah National Forest, they are the premium hubs for all types of mountain bikes.

Industry Nine Hydra rear hubs are available with 28 and 32 spoke holes. They also come in Boost (148 x 12 mm), Super Boost (157 x 12 mm), DH (150 & 157 mm), and Non-Boost (142 mm) spacing. The Industry Nine Hydra Boost rear hubs offer a choice between 6-bolt and Centerlock brake mounts, while the DH and Non-Boost Hydra hubs come with 6-bolt disc brake mounts. The entire Industry Nine color range, with 11 options, is available.

Industry Nine Hydra rear hubs feature a freewheel with 690 engagement points, resulting in a negligible free play of just 0.52 degrees. This ensures virtually instantaneous power transfer. All Hydra hubs are manufactured entirely at the Asheville plant in the Pisgah National Forest. The hub body is machined from high-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, while the pawls and drive ring are EDM-machined from A2 tool steel.

The Industry Nine Hydra hubs are suitable for all mountain bikes from cross country to downhill and are also compatible with Class 1 e-bikes.
