Wheelset:
The Industry Nine Back Country 450 wheelset was developed for plus bikes with very wide tires as well as fat bikes with tires up to 3.8 inches wide. Despite its 45 mm internal width, the BC450 offers a competitive weight of just 1950 grams per set. The BC450 utilizes the renowned Hydra System spoke chassis with exclusive aluminum spokes bolted directly to the hub for maximum stability and control.

Hubs:

Industry Nine Hydra hubs are high-end mountain bike hubs for everything from cross-country to downhill riding. Machined from high-grade aluminum and manufactured in the mountain biking paradise of Pisgah National Forest, they are the premium hubs for all types of mountain bikes.

Industry Nine Hydra rear hubs feature a freewheel with 690 engagement points, resulting in a negligible free play of just 0.52 degrees. This ensures virtually instantaneous power transfer. All Hydra hubs are manufactured entirely at the Asheville plant in the Pisgah National Forest. The hub body is machined from high-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, while the pawls and drive ring are EDM-machined from A2 tool steel.
