Simple versatility

With its flat bar, dynamo lighting and Reynolds 725 frameset, the Tour de Fer 30 remains a comfortable and reliable companion for long distances.

Ready for a round-the-world trip straight away – with subtle upgrades like a new straight-blade fork, fully internal brake and gear routing and the new Shimano CUES LINKGLIDE drivetrain.

Wide gear range

The days of triple chainrings and bulky front mechs are over. The Tour de Fer 30 runs an ultra-tough LINKGLIDE drivetrain: an 11–39T cassette paired with our own 46/30T chainrings gives a wide gear range in a compact setup.

Lowrider

A classic AtranVelo Explorer lowrider front rack keeps the load as low as possible to preserve the Tour de Fer's great handling, even fully loaded.

Busch & Müller lighting

The Busch & Müller dynamo lights front and rear aren't just about being seen – they put out enough light to ride safely off the tarmac too.

AVS-compatible

The AtranVelo Tour Lite rear rack is a sturdy companion with a 27 kg load capacity. The AVS interface lets you clip compatible accessories on and off quickly without limiting the classic pannier mounting options.
