The Genesis Croix de Fer 725 Frameset is the ultimate base for your own adventure or gravel project – tough, versatile and ready for custom builds. The frame is made from premium Reynolds 725 steel, whose heat-treated tubes are especially strong yet comfortable to ride.
Thanks to generous tyre clearance (up to 50 mm front and 45 mm rear on 700c wheels), this frameset handles all kinds of surfaces and is just as ready for 650B wheels with wide tyres.
The classic adventure geometry is complemented by multiple bottle cage mounts, a threaded bottom bracket and a chromoly fork with Anything Cage mounts – perfect for bikepacking cages, bags and other gear.
With the Croix de Fer 725 Frameset you lay the foundation for a custom bike that rides as versatilely as you plan it – for commuting, touring or big adventures.

With clearance for up to 700 x 47 mm tyres – or the option to build a fat-tyre city bike – the possibilities are practically endless.

An optimised axle with precise dropouts adds security and stiffness.
Versatile mounts
The Croix de Fer has all the mounting points you'd expect, like top tube eyelets and rack mounts on the seatstays. The frame also adds cleverly placed bottle cage mounts on the main tubes to make the most of the available space.

The Reynolds 725 chromoly tubeset allows thinner tube walls without losing strength. The result: a lighter frame with a lively, responsive ride.
