The pedal body is milled from high-strength 7075 aluminum. Through intensive testing with various sizes and shapes, FRAEZEN has created the ideal platform. It offers excellent stability, a secure footing, and allows for large bearings.

An offset between the two standing surfaces allows for better sliding when getting caught on rocks or roots. The platform is concave to generate even more grip.

It's flatter in the middle than at the edges. The raised section is solely for storage purposes.

Pins
In their tests, FRAEZEN concluded that a 3 mm thick pin with grooves digs optimally into the shoe and stays firmly in place. They chose 316L stainless steel as the material. The pedals come standard with 4 and 5 mm pins; those who want more can upgrade to the 7 mm long NAGEL MAX pins.

Storage
FRAEZEN relies on IGUS bearings; with a 25 mm wide and therefore extremely large plain bearing, they have achieved excellent long-term results. Two Enduro Bearings 688 LLB MAX ball bearings were mounted on the outside.
