Progressive Cane Creek Valt steel spring for use in all Cane Creek coil shocks with progressive spring rate.

The progressive Cane Creek Valt steel springs offer a variable spring rate throughout the suspension travel. Designed by Cane Creek engineers, they provide an increasing spring rate as the suspension travel increases. This allows the combination of the smooth initial response of coil shocks with the travel support many frames require. This makes them ideal for bikes whose kinematics are typically designed for air shocks. The Cane Creek Valt Progressive springs begin to increase in rate at 50% of the spring's travel.

The graph below shows the difference in spring rate between the standard Valt steel spring and the progressive Valt steel spring. The progression is equivalent to that of a Cane Creek DB Kitsuma Air shock with one volume spacer.
